New Fashioned: English Harbor Rum, Luxardo cherries, old fashion bitters, orange twist.

The lone drink of the night was at Serpentine, the sister restaurant of Slow Club. This is one of the best places for drinks and dinner in San Francisco--it's worth checking out. That night, I tried the New Fashioned--a play on the classic Old Fashioned. Compared to the Old Fashioned, the New Fashioned is much simpler in complexity, but the feel is still there. The first taste you experience is the Luxardo, which then disappears to a very smooth finish.
