Drinks from the Weekday: March 22

Drink menu at Slow Club

Hotel Nacionale: Flor de Cana 4 year rum, apricot liqueur, pineapple gum syrup, and fresh lime.

The first drink was the Hotel Nacionale at Slow Club. It's normally one of my "go-to" places, but there seemed to be a change in the quality of the food that night. Hopefully that was just a fluke. The drink itself was good. The Hotel Nacionale had a citrus taste, but without the acidic sourness of citrus drinks. The apricot liqueur in the drink was not overpowering as most liqueurs are; and gave it a subtle apricot after taste.

Drink menu at Locanda

Piedmonte Punch: Grappa, pineapple, lemon, and bitters.

The last drink and dessert was at Locanda. The dessert was fantastic and I will definitely have to come back for dinner and drinks again. I had the Piedmonte Punch which had strong flavors of the lemon and bitters with slight pineapple taste. The grappa did come though to me but could be easily missed if not looked for. This was the best drink of the two I had that night.
